Club Ophelia is for middle school girls in sixth through eighth grades. This curriculum includes two training presentations, lesson plans, reproducibiles and much more! Materials are presented in an easy-to-follow format and guide the director(s) through educating and empowering girls with discussion points, arts-based activities, games and role-plays. Included are a sample budget and directions that can be tailored to suit individual school needs. For any counselor, social-worker, or other professional who strives to help girls succeed in their relationships with each other, this version of Club Ophelia is just for you!
This file contains everything you will need to obtain funding and present your own Ophelia program. The Director and Mentor Training power points should be viewed first, as they guide you through the setup process. You will use the Mentor Training power points again when you orient and train your mentors prior to starting your program.
Each lesson plan with measurable objectives and supply lists are in a separate file for your convenience. Evaluation forms and hand outs are also separate documents. This was done at the suggestion of one of our most experienced program implementers, who discovered that paging through a long document in search of a particular handout became cumbersome.

Ophelia Program Curriculum
Just for younger girls……The newest Club Ophelia program is for second or third grade girls. The curriculum includes two training presentations, lesson plans, reproducibles and everything needed to hold four ninety-minute sessions and is a user-friendly option for starting an after school or community club. Materials are presented in a session-by-session format and contain education on vocabulary, age-appropriate games, discussion points, and a final parent ceremony. Included are a sample budget and invitations that can be tailored to suit individual school needs. For any counselor, social-worker, or other professional who has run Club Ophelia for older girls, this younger version is a must!
